Shane and Kelly Roach are the local artists behind Fulton Foundry in Canal Fulton, Ohio!
They create ceramic pieces for outdoor and indoor use including birdhouses, lanterns, bells, and garden sculptures. Desiring strong artistic pieces for their own gardens, they set their attention to creating unique works of art that compliments the natural environment while maintaining a strong presence.
The Roach’s work combines wheel and hand-built elements that are shaped, carved, and sculpted. Natural themes and stories permeate their work. A cold process is utilized to create an aged brass or bronze patinaed finish. Pieces are then treated with several layers of sealant to preserve the finish and protect against the natural elements.
