Carrie Adams Smith, of Kendall Hills Clay Studio, draws inspiration from the beautiful scenery surrounding her Peninsula, Ohio home and studio. Carrie told Maple Street Art Gallery, “Making pots is my daily meditation, a sacred existence to maintain my center. My pots are ever evolving and seldom repeated, for this is the nature of the individual character of each piece as it transforms from a ball of clay and emerges from the fire of the kiln.”
Carrie's attention to detail, combined with her subtle, earthy glazes makes for pieces that could go in the most minimalist or maximalist collection and still be the star.
